So many of us are not fully in our bodies and spending too much time thinking about how to control our external world.

What if there is a way to release the stuff that keeps you from being calm and balanced –

Activities and mindsets that open us up to our basic right to thrive – to be in our creative energy because we are breathing more deeply, and have a smile on our face that originates from the inside and core of ourselves.

Tai Chi, Qigong and nature offer us a soft and subtle invitation to claim these feelings of peace, balance and center.

Not Tai Chi from a martial arts perspective of competition or “doing it right.”

Tai Chi and Qigong as it was originally intended.

To awaken us to a free-flow existence that does not use the outside world as a reference to how we feel and behave.

This is how the “internal” aspects of these practices produce the health and wellness we all seek.  This is why these activities are considered lifetime sports and “keeping Tai Chi for life.”

I have struggled with my own over-thinking and tension from my training to be a “good person” that is responsible for myself and others beyond what one person is capable of.

I have found myself stressed out because I could not do it all, control things and be what the world expects. I have not been grounded in my own power.

I have my own challenges with holding tension, not being present and not interacting with others in my best way, especially for the people I love the most.

On April 3rd, I’m beginning a 12-week program to learn and practice ways to get you the stress relief and rejuvenation you crave.

I’ll be sharing what I have learned from my professional career as a biologist – restoring rivers and nature along with the internal energy principles of Tai Chi and Qigong.

This focus is not martial arts or how to do Tai Chi forms “correctly” but an exploration on how you can incorporate the Tai Chi’s wellness and energy flow concepts into your life.

We’ll meet for about 75 minutes of Tai Chi and Qi Gong exercises, a mini ‘wisdom of nature’ session and Q + A.

During our 12 weeks together, you will:

Learn how to identify and release built-up tension in the body 

By practicing Tai Chi and Qigong and incorporating wisdom from nature and Taoism.

Restore a sense of calmness and “It's all OK” feeling

By getting out of chronic stress and overwhelm.

Learn about energy cultivation and “Chi” flow 

And how it benefits our health.

Understand the difference between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems

And how these influence health and wellness

What is Zero Point Tai Chi?

Zero Point Tai Chi is the practice of using Tai Chi and Qigong movements to release the tension that blocks our innate abilities to feel the free flow of energy.  It is to reconnect with our greater self where there is "no time" and we are fully in the present moment.  The Zero Point field is where universal creative energy exists and natural healing and well-being lives.  Here, we let go of the mental, analytical thinking mind and move back into balance.

I help the world’s healers maintain their own well-being using the integration of Tai Chi and nature principles.

During the last two plus decades, I’ve helped people feel healthier, more energized and in balance by practicing Tai Chi, Qigong and reconnecting with nature.
